
Alongside US President Donald Trump, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, paid a visit to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
With a solemn stop at the mausoleum of the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the US President and his delegation began the visit. There, they honoured the UAE’s founding father and considered his lasting legacy, which established the groundwork for advancing peace, tolerance, and coexistence globally.
As the US President and his entourage toured the mosque’s halls and courtyards, they learnt about the mosque’s role in promoting intercultural communication and understanding amongst many religions and civilisations.
Additionally, they received an update on the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center’s endeavours to advance Islamic principles and enhance global intercultural and intercultural dialogue.
The US President and his delegation were also given a tour of the mosque’s history and unique artistic and architectural features, which showcase the beauty of traditional Arab and Islamic culture through intricate designs and engineering elements that reflect the rich heritage of Islamic architecture across the centuries.
