His Majesty On Monday, the UAE Cabinet met in Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi, which was presided over by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister, and ruler of Dubai.
The UAE Cabinet authorised the first integrated regulatory intelligence ecosystem inside the UAE Government at the meeting. Based on the most cutting-edge artificial intelligence techniques and solutions, this innovative legislation and law development system is the first of its type in the world and represents a first for smart government.
By introducing a proactive approach to legislative planning, the ecosystem helps the government keep up with the swift changes occurring in the world’s geopolitical, economic, social, and technical landscapes. The new model includes the creation of the largest national legislative database, which incorporates judicial decisions, government procedures, services, and field-level systems in addition to federal and municipal laws.
Because of its dynamic environment, the UAE is able to transition from old static rules to dynamic, responsive regulations. It embraces the adaptability and speed of AI-driven regulation while maintaining the national legislative character defined by the founding fathers’ vision and social ideals.
Sheikh Mohammed stated that we took important decisions to move legislative processes forward during today’s Cabinet meeting, which I convened at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi. We gave our approval to the creation of the Cabinet’s Regulatory Intelligence Office. Using artificial intelligence, this agency will integrate all federal and municipal laws in the UAE with presidential orders, court decisions, and public services to create a complete legislative plan.
