Supported by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation and initiated by Ferjan Dubai in collaboration with the UAE Water Aid Foundation and the Emirates Food Bank, the humanitarian community initiative “Al Fareej Fridge” has reached a new milestone by distributing one million bottles of cold water, juices, and ice cream as part of its initiative to mitigate the effects of summer heat on workers in construction and agriculture on the streets and roads, as well as delivery drivers. The initiative aims to promote and consolidate the values of compassion and giving among various segments of Dubai society.
The Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives’ Director of Sustainability and Partnerships, Ibrahim Al Balooshi, emphasised the “Al Fareej Fridge’s” significant influence.
According to him, these initiatives highlight the significance of bringing joy to all facets of society and offering all necessary resources to uplift people’s standard of living in Dubai, particularly in times of greatest need for community and humanitarian assistance.
The distribution of one million water bottles, according to Alia Al Shamlan, Director of “Ferjan Dubai,” is evidence of the Dubai community’s dedication to the ideals of charity and giving.
