Ayaan Mandelia, a 15-year-old Dubai resident, has been named the “Youngest chartered accountant (male)” by Guinness World Records. He was 15 years and three days old when the record was recorded on July 13, 2026. The Indian-origin teenager also successfully completed the ACCA examination pathway and achieved ACCA Affiliate status, indicating an exceptionally early entry into the field of professional accountancy.
The distinction is noteworthy for the age and the path he pursued. Mandelia pursued a professional qualification while his peers were primarily focused on completing school exams. He is an ACCA Affiliate; however, full ACCA membership requires completing the remaining professional requirements and gaining qualifying practical experience.
Mandelia’s accomplishment is recognised by Guinness World Records in the “Youngest chartered accountant (male)” category. The record title should not be confused with a distinct Guinness category for the youngest ACCA Affiliate. His ACCA Affiliate status depends on completing the examination requirements, and these two accomplishments together form the focal point of his narrative.
One project, PeopleOS, is an internal workforce-operations system that encompasses administrative workflows, attendance, and employee records. Its records have included 316 employees. Another project, the ACCA Performance Engine, is a software-based examination assessment and feedback project that employs structured marking logic and validation tests. Both exhibit a focus on the development of tools that can be verified rather than blindly accepted.
