In order to improve economic, trade, and investment relations between the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah and the Republic of Turkey, the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Turkish Enterprise and Business Confederation (TÜRKONFED) signed a strategic cooperation agreement that will support large companies, startups, and small and medium-sized businesses.

Given that TÜRKONFED is one of the top independent non-governmental economic organisations in Turkey, Mohamed Mosbbeh Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, emphasised that signing the agreement is a strategic step for the business community in the Emirate.

He clarified that TÜRKONFED represents over 300 associations and over 31 sub-federations, including small and medium-sized businesses throughout Turkey and over 100,000 significant Turkish corporations in a variety of industries.

In front of Yaser Abdullah Al Ahmed, Chief Government & Corporate Relations Officer of RAKEZ, and Arda Batu, Secretary-General and member of TÜRKONFED’s Board of Directors, Al Nuaimi signed the agreement on behalf of the Chamber, along with Süleyman Sönmez, President of TÜRKONFED.
