Numerous activities have been implemented throughout the summer of 2026, such as the supply of air-conditioned rest spaces, water, cold beverages, and meals, along with protective gear and awareness programs that emphasize the dangers of heat stress and how to avoid it. From June 15 to September 15, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization (MoHRE) carries out its strategy to safeguard employes from heat stress. The guideline forbids working in open spaces and under direct sunlight during the daytime hours. In collaboration with pertinent government agencies and the commercial sector, it also entails the installation of over 12,000 air-conditioned rest spaces with basic amenities for delivery workers throughout the United Arab Emirates.
