His Highness The fifth Sharjah Events Festival was opened on Sunday night by Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council.
The festival, which will take place at Al Majaz Amphitheatre from December 21 to 24 under the theme “Shining with Events,” is being organized by the Sharjah Events website of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau.
His Highness Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi visited the festival’s many pavilions, spoke with exhibitors, and took in the artistic performances, interactive events, and kid-friendly spaces.
He emphasized the festival as a well-known yearly occasion in Sharjah that honors creativity, educational opportunities, meaningful entertainment, and community involvement. The Sharjah Events Agenda for 2026, which includes a variety of events and activities throughout the cities and regions of the emirate, was also examined by His Highness.
Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed was briefed on the involvement of Sharjah’s public and private institutions while touring the festival halls and pavilions. These organizations highlighted their goals, significance, and activities for families and guests of all ages by showcasing a broad range of athletic, cultural, educational, and entertainment events.
