Al Wathba is getting ready to host one of the biggest New Year’s Eve celebrations in the United Arab Emirates and the surrounding area as the Higher Committee of the Sheikh Zayed Festival completes an amazing program that includes the largest drone performance in the world, an unprecedented 62-minute fireworks show, and a wide range of cultural and heritage events offered by participating nations, sponsors, and strategic partners. The event strengthens the festival’s standing as a worldwide venue for entertainment, culture, and interpersonal relationships.
The festival’s historic fireworks show aims to set five new Guinness World Records. On New Year’s Eve, the show will take place in five stages, starting at 8 p.m. and ending at midnight with the main display, which will run nonstop for 62 minutes. The Al Wathba skyline will be illuminated on a never-before-seen scale by the fireworks, which will make use of the most recent synchronization and launch technology.
Additionally, 6,500 drones will perform in a single 20-minute sortie as part of a ground-breaking drone spectacle. The spectacle has nine enormous aerial formations that are being shown for the first time in the world. They are combined with the fireworks display, coordinated with a digital countdown, and provide a visually immersive experience that showcases the festival’s creative use of cutting-edge entertainment technologies.
