As part of its ongoing humanitarian mission, the UAE Floating Hospital medical team successfully performed a complex surgical procedure on a young Palestinian man who sustained compound fractures in his right leg and arm, along with complications from earlier injuries.
The patient is currently receiving comprehensive medical care and undergoing physiotherapy sessions under the supervision of the hospital’s specialised medical team. His treatment plan ensures the highest standards of care and supports a steady path toward recovery.
Dr. Ali Saeed Al Kaabi, Director of the UAE Floating Hospital, stated that the patient remains under continuous medical observation and is following an intensive physiotherapy programme designed to restore mobility and expedite healing. He added that the patient also receives psychological and humanitarian support as part of his rehabilitation process.
Dr. Al Kaabi highlighted that the UAE Floating Hospital’s mission extends beyond medical treatment to include psychological and social care for patients and their families, creating a holistic therapeutic environment that promotes faster recovery and reduces distress. Operational since February last year, the hospital continues to provide vital medical services to Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.
