Guido Crosetto, the Italian Republic’s Minister of Defence, met with President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Wednesday at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) as part of the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX 2025).
Sheikh Mohamed and the Italian minister talked about the two nations’ defence cooperation during their discussion. They also emphasised the importance of IDEX as a major international forum for defence organisations and businesses from all over the world to present their ideas and research the most recent developments in the defence sector.
Ambassador Yousef Al Otaiba of the United Arab Emirates to the United States of America, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President, and Mohamed Bin Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, were present at the meeting. His Highness previously visited many exhibits and pavilions at IDEX 2025 that showcased state-of-the-art defence technologies and technological solutions.
Staff Lieutenant General Engineer Issa Saif Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces; Faisal Abdulaziz Al Bannai, Advisor to the President for Strategic Research and Advanced Technology; Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President, accompanied His Highness on tour.
