His Highness the President of the United Arab Emirates On the occasion of the International Day of Education, which is observed on January 24 of each year, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan stated that we reaffirm our dedication to the continuous improvement of education in the United Arab Emirates.

We want to create a more resilient and inventive future for our country and its citizens by encouraging lifelong learning, advancing our identity and values, and utilising technology and artificial intelligence responsibly.
The UAE has demonstrated its dedication to educational justice by launching a project to promote the continuation of education in Lebanon through Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives’ Digital School, which will benefit 40,000 students in its first phase. This project provides assistance for educational facilities in camps for displaced people as well as digital learning options.
The Digital School has grown quickly since its launch in 2020, now serving more than 160,000 students in 13 countries. The portal provides information in Arabic, English, French, and Spanish and has trained over 2,500 digital teachers.
