The President of the United Arab Emirates travels to Kazan to Attend the BRICS Summit

The President’s Highness In order to attend the BRICS Leaders’ Summit, which will be held by the Russian Federation from October 22 to 24, 2024, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has travelled to Kazan.

As a BRICS member, this is the UAE’s first time attending the summit.

With the topic “Strengthening Multilateralism for Equitable Global Development and Security,” this year’s summit brings together not only delegates of invited governments but also the leaders and chiefs of government of numerous BRICS countries.

Along with several ministers and high-ranking officials, the delegation that accompanies His Highness the President includes Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, the Presidential Court’s Advisor for Special Affairs; Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed, the Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; and Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.

This year’s summit, which has as its topic “Strengthening Multilateralism for Equitable Global Development and Security,” brings together representatives of invited governments as well as the leaders and heads of government of numerous BRICS countries.
