The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) predicts a slight uptick in temperatures on Wednesday. Light to moderate northwesterly to southwesterly dust stirring winds, vigorous at times, will blow over the sea, while sand breezes will blow across land on Sunday.

According to the NCM, this is owing to the country being influenced by an eastward extension of a weak surface low-pressure system and a westward extension of a surface high-pressure system, as well as an upper-atmosphere extension.

The NCM also predicts clear skies on Sunday, with northwesterly to southwesterly winds of light to moderate speed and active at times, especially over the sea, stirring dust over land, with speeds ranging from 10 to 25, amounting to 40 km/h, and the sea will be moderate to rough in the Arabian Gulf and light in the Sea of Oman. According to the NCM, Monday’s weather will be mostly clear, although humid at night and on Tuesday morning over some coastal locations, with a potential of light fog forming to the north.

Winds will be northwesterly to southwesterly, light to moderate in speed, and active at times, stirring dust to the west at speeds ranging from 10 to 25 km/h, according to the NCM. The sea will be rough in the west during the day, becoming moderate to light in the Arabian Gulf and light in the Sea of Oman.
