Seven Million meals Will be Delivered During the Holy Month of Ramadan 2025 by the UAE Food Bank.

The United in Giving program was started by the UAE Food Bank to give seven million meals to people in need over Ramadan. According to the Dubai Government’s Media Office, Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum, the wife of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, the vice president and ruler of Dubai, ordered the effort to be started.

According to Eng Marwan Ahmed bin Khalifa, deputy chairman of the UAE Food Bank’s board of trustees, “United in Giving reflects the UAE’s deeply rooted values of generosity and compassion.” It acts as a rallying cry for people, organizations, and benefactors to contribute to the well-being of millions.

He noted that the campaign aligned to make the UAE a world leader in humanitarian and charity endeavors while encouraging a generous and socially responsible society. The UAE Food Bank is still dedicated to gathering, organizing, and providing excess food to as many people as possible across the globe.

Operating within a sustainable humanitarian framework, the project reduces suffering, fosters social unity, and guarantees the continuation of philanthropic endeavours. The project also helps to improve the environment by reducing food loss and waste.

The UAE Food Bank is spearheading the effort, which is being run on three fronts. One of these fronts is Blessing Baskets, which aims to distribute over 200,000 meals daily through food donations, packages, and excess meals.
