Images of autorickshaw driver Bhajan Singh Rana posing with Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan in the hospital before he left for home began doing the rounds on social media a day after the actor’s release. Saif was wounded several times during a robbery attempt at his home in the early hours of the morning on January 16, and it was rickshaw driver Bhajan Singh Rana who drove him to Lilavati hospital.
The rickshaw driver was phoned by Saif himself to meet him at the hospital before he left for home. One picture shows Saif on the hospital bed with the autorickshaw driver seated beside him, grinning at the camera. Saif’s hand is bruised on Bhajan Singh Rana’s shoulder.
In addition to thanking the rickshaw driver, the 54-year-old celebrity, who is married to Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, advised him never to hesitate to seek assistance. Together with his mother, renowned actress Sharmila Tagore, Saif thanked Bhajan Singh Rana.
