
His Majesty The President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and French President Emmanuel Macron discussed ways to strengthen their bilateral ties, particularly in the fields of investment, culture, and the economy, while also looking at other aspects of their long-standing and strategic partnership.
The two sides also discussed ways to improve collaboration in areas including energy, cutting-edge technology, artificial intelligence, and climate action that contribute to their shared vision of sustainable growth and prosperity.
During their meeting at the Élysée Palace, President Macron welcomed His Highness the President and expressed his joy at having him visit France. His Highness reciprocated by thanking President Macron for the kind reception.
The two presidents reaffirmed their commitment to ongoing communication and cooperation while discussing regional and global events and exchanging opinions on important topics. They emphasised how crucial cooperation is to address urgent global issues and promote peace and stability in the Middle East and beyond.
Speaking about the close relationship between France and the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan emphasised their positive cooperation in many areas, especially energy and climate change. He pointed out that the UAE-France Bilateral Climate Investment Platform was established last year and that the two countries have had a Comprehensive Strategic Energy Partnership since 2022.
