A brand-new AI technology that claims to simplify daily tasks is on its way. Would you feel comfortable having a “digital helper” place orders and complete online paperwork on your behalf? The “Operator” artificial intelligence program, which OpenAI unveiled on Thursday, can handle online activities.
OpenAI says the operator may search for online pages and interact with them by clicking, scrolling, or typing as a human would. In an online post, OpenAI stated, “A wide range of repetitive browser tasks, including ordering groceries, filling out forms, and even making memes, can be asked of the operator.
The potential of AI to be used with the same tools and interfaces that people use on a daily basis expands its usefulness, saving people time on routine chores and creating new business engagement opportunities.
An artificial intelligence “agent,” the newest craze in Silicon Valley, is a digital assistant designed to perceive its environment, make decisions, and act to accomplish predetermined objectives. Google debuted Gemini 2.0, its most sophisticated AI model to date, in December, announcing agent capabilities.
