It appears that English singer-songwriter Dua Lipa will not be able to move into her new home following her wedding until 2027. London is said to be the location of the singer’s dream. According to “Female First UK,” the singer of “Dance The Night,” who just married 36-year-old actor Callum Turner in Italy, purchased the magnificent house in 2020 and requested planning approval for major modifications in 202. According to reports, Dua, 30, intends to renovate the house for $3.9 million, including a large basement with a movie theater, music studio, and swimming pool.
However, Dua and her new husband Callum won’t be able to move in for a while because work is scheduled to continue until July 2027. “She could be investing $3.9 million to make this a home that suits her needs,” Leigh Ann Raines, a design expert, told DailyMail.com. Excavation beneath an existing structure is far more involved than expanding out or up, even though expanding an existing home is always a drawn-consuming procedure. The construction crew in Dua’s instance is taking great care to avoid upsetting the neighbors.
“To prevent noise and vibration, they are digging the basement by hand using modified tools. It takes time to do this. Rome was not constructed overnight. It takes time to complete any project involving structural alterations. I oversaw remodeling projects that took more than three years to finish. From the custom joinery made to showcase or store her possessions to the lighting inside a drawer, a great deal of decision-making and cooperation with all stakeholders and artisans is needed. They continued, “No expense will be spared to ensure that this will be a respite for Dua, who works hard and needs a sanctuary to escape to during downtime at home or to be creative in the comfort of her home.”
