Expo Centre Sharjah reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing the exhibitions and events industry in the UAE, particularly in Sharjah, by fostering its growth to benefit key economic, social, cultural, and educational sectors while also strengthening its contribution to advancing sustainable development.

The Centre’s events calendar for 2025 includes various innovative and specialised events and exhibitions, including premiere editions in major industries such as manufacturing, smart transport, commerce, healthcare, perfumes, gold, and jewellery. This statement was made during a meeting of the Centre’s Board of Directors, presided over by Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and Expo Centre Sharjah.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Majid Faisal Khalid Al Qasemi, First Vice Chairman of SCCI, and Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, as well as board members, department heads, and senior executives from the Centre.

The gathering highlighted the accomplishments of Expo Centre Sharjah and its subsidiary centers in Khorfakkan and Al Dhaid throughout the previous year. The Centre successfully produced and hosted 80 important exhibitions, representing a stunning 60% increase over 2023. These events included broad international and regional involvement from prominent companies and renowned brands, attracting approximately 3 million visitors from the UAE and beyond.
