With sales up 21% to Dhs23.9 billion ($6.5 billion), EBITDA up 24% to Dhs12.9 billion ($3.5 billion), and net profit before tax up 23% to Dhs12.8 billion ($3.5 billion), Emaar Properties had a strong performance in the first half of 2026. Emaar continued to provide balanced contributions to its development, recurring revenue, and foreign operations, building on its performance from the first quarter. In the first half of 2026, property sales totaled about Dhs26.6 billion ($7.2 billion). As of June 30, 2026, the revenue backlog from real estate transactions was over Dhs164.9 billion ($44.9 billion), representing a 13% year-over-year growth and offering good visibility for future revenue recognition.
With almost 590 million square feet of mixed-use development potential, including about 316 million square feet in the United Arab Emirates, Emaar boasts one of the biggest and most varied master-planned land banks in the region. “Our first half results reflect the discipline, consistency, and long-term approach that define Emaar,” stated Mohamed Alabbar, the company’s founder. Both Dubai and we are always evolving. Every stage of the city’s development offers fresh chances to redefine experiences and boost expectations. Emaar’s job is to keep creating destinations that represent Dubai’s aspirations while upholding the excellence in quality, innovation, and operations that have defined our company from its founding.
“We continue to be appreciative of our leadership’s vision and forward-thinking approach to economic development, which has fostered a stable, transparent, and business-friendly environment,” he continued. Even in the face of a more uncertain global environment, this confidence in leadership continues to draw talent and capital. Emaar’s long-term expansion is still made possible by this stability. Emaar Development announced sales of Dhs13.3 billion ($3.6 billion), up 34% from the previous year, and net profit before taxes of Dhs7.8 billion ($2.1 billion), up 41% from the same period last year.
