The Sharjah-Côte d’Ivoire Business Forum was organized by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) to discuss potential investment collaboration opportunities and share information about opportunities in both countries.
Senior officials from the UAE’s commercial sector, especially those located in Sharjah, and their counterparts from Côte d’Ivoire participated in the event, which was held at SCCI’s headquarters. The sectors covered were manufacturing, tourism, agriculture, logistics, and renewable energy.
Toure Faman, the president of the Côte d’Ivoire Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, the chairman of SCCI, attended the forum.
In addition, Abdul Aziz Al Shamsi, SCCI’s Assistant Director-General for Communication and Business Sector, Fatima Khalifa Al Mokarrab, Director of SCCI’s International Relations Department, and SCCI Board Members Halima Humaid Ali Al Owais and Mohamed Rashid Ali Demas were in attendance. Influential businesspeople and representatives from both houses were also present at the event, which promoted cooperation and interaction.
SCCI and the Cote d’Ivoire Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the forum’s sidelines to improve collaboration and increase the volume of bilateral trade and investments between the two nations’ business communities.
