According to the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Ports Security (ICP), Emiratis using Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport (AUH) can conveniently renew their UAE passports if they have expired or if their passport is valid for less than six months without leaving the airport grounds.
This can be accomplished through the Customer Happiness Center, which is open 24/7 to streamline traveler procedures and strengthen Zayed International Airport’s standing as one of the major international airports offering Emiratis integrated services that provide them with a quick and easy travel experience by the highest standards, the statement stated.
It also stated that the service guarantees that tourists finish their travel procedures quickly and easily by allowing a new passport, valid for up to ten years, to be provided in less than five minutes without requiring any further documentation beyond the expired passport.
The ICP noted that in addition to renewing Emiratis, its office at Zayed International Airport offers several additional electronic services, such as changing traveler status and data, removing entry and exit movements, and obtaining visa and residency information. According to the statement, this helps to make travel easier and offers travelers integrated options.
