ADFD reports Dhs370 Million for Jordan's Digital Revolution

The Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) announced a Dhs370 million investment to support the digital transformation of the Jordanian Ministry of Health, which coincides with the visit of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. This investment aims to strengthen the UAE’s position as a global destination for digital transformation, as well as to enhance the UAE’s significant role in advanced technology and its successful applications of best global practices. This program is a component of the UAE’s larger grant to support development initiatives in line with Jordan’s Economic Modernisation Vision 2023–2025, which contains Dhs1.468 billion in total funding.

The Jordanian Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship will collaborate with the Emirati company Presight to carry out this strategic initiative. By leveraging the combined experience of both countries, this partnership demonstrates a sustainable development model and guarantees the highest standards of quality and efficiency in the use of cutting-edge technology solutions.

The digital transformation project will create an integrated system for sharing and storing medical data by connecting several health facilities throughout Jordan to a single, easily accessible, dependable, and effective digital platform. This program is anticipated to greatly progress Jordan’s attempts to transform digitally and improve the health sector’s capacities.
