He called it a brilliant chapter in the UAE’s national history and a crucial stage in nation-building.
Sheikh Mohammed stated in a statement marking the 49th anniversary of the UAE Armed Forces’ unification that on May 6, 1976, Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan and his fellow Rulers met and issued the order to unify the UAE’s Armed Forces. To our nation’s sons and daughters, valiant military leaders and troops, May you be blessed and at peace.
