A toddler and five other people were on board a medevac plane that crashed near Philadelphia shortly after takeoff on Friday, according to the air ambulance business that operated it. The organisation did not confirm if any survivors were on board.

Four crew members, a paediatric patient, and the patient’s mother were on board when Jet Rescue Air Ambulance, a Mexican company with a US operating licence, crashed. The business released a statement saying, “At this time, we are unable to confirm any survivors.

After the jet crashed into a densely populated area of the city, state and municipal officials stated late Friday that they were still unable to confirm the number of persons who might have perished on the ground. Witnesses to the collision captured footage of body parts scattered over the streets and inside surrounding residences. CNN said that the Mexican government claimed that everyone on the plane was a Mexican national.

Shai Gold, who works on corporate strategy with Jet Rescue Air Ambulance, told CNN that the youngster was a girl travelling home with Tijuana as her final destination. He added that her mother was on board as well.
