German businessman and humanitarian specialist Kilian Kleinschmidt said the UAE has become a global leader in utilizing resources and skills to create a sustainable and future-ready society. Kleinschmidt, during a panel discussion at the World Crisis and Emergency Management Summit 2025, claimed the UAE had established itself as a global center for research, technology, and future planning.

He emphasized the need for “borderless” solutions to handle global disasters and issues, saying that governments and communities must work together to respond to crises effectively in words to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).

He lauded the UAE’s strategy of development and creativity, calling it a “global brain. ” This brain has drawn talent from a wide range of fields to turn a resource-poor desert into a hub for knowledge, technology, and ambitious ambition. He called for adopting this special development experience in other areas to aid in creating more robust and sustainable systems, saying it is worthwhile to replicate globally.

Kleinschmidt emphasized that “any crisis is an opportunity for transformation,” pointing out that the goal of recovery should be to envision a more sophisticated and adaptive future rather than just reconstruct.

By connecting regional problems with worldwide technical advancements, he emphasized artificial intelligence as a fundamental component of the Fourth Industrial Revolution that provides communities with innovative answers.
