The UAE Pilgrims’ Affairs Office and related committees that assist Emirati pilgrims during this year’s Hajj presented a delegation to UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Tuesday. The gathering was held in Abu Dhabi in Qasr Al Bahr. Sheikh Mohamed commended the Office for its efforts to provide pilgrims in the UAE with all-encompassing assistance, from their safe return home until their arrival to the sacred places.
His Highness received an update on the Office’s efforts and programs to support pilgrims and ensure their welfare during their stay in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the meeting.
Additionally, he received an update on the Office’s plans to improve its services and advance projects to organise better and oversee the affairs of pilgrims from the United Arab Emirates in the years to come.
Sheikh Mohamed was commended by Dr. Omar Habtoor Al Darei, Head of the UAE Pilgrims’ Affairs Office and Chairman of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat, for his unwavering support and careful attention during the Hajj season. He praised Sheikh Mohamed’s orders to streamline the Office’s operations and improve its capacity to provide pilgrims with efficient service.
