Four People are Killed in a Fierce Russian Airstrike on The Ukrainian Capital

Four people were killed by Russia’s intensive missile and drone assault on the Ukrainian capital overnight, according to Ukrainian officials, as the city was rocked by huge explosions. After Ukrainian drones destroyed multiple strategic bomber planes in raids deep within Russia, Russian President Vladimir Putin threatened retaliation through US President Donald Trump. In addition to the four fatalities, 20 others were hurt, 16 of them were hospitalised, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

According to Kyiv’s military government, a Russian attack damaged and struck rails between stations, disrupting the city’s metro transportation system. Due to regional railway damage, Ukrzaliznytsia, Ukraine’s governmental rail corporation, announced that it was also rerouting certain trains. According to a Reuters photographer on the scene, a Russian drone crashed into the side of an apartment block in the Solomianskyi area, leaving a large hole and fire scars.
