According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), weak surface pressure systems and an upper-air high-pressure extension caused strong northwesterly winds with maximum speeds of 40 km/h to hit numerous parts of the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday. Rakna, Al Ain, recorded the nation’s lowest temperature on Tuesday at 15°C at 06:15 a.m., according to the NCM.

In some northern coastal and interior locations, Wednesday’s weather is expected to be mostly clear with sporadic partial cloud cover. It will also be humid during the night and early Thursday morning, with the possibility of light fog formation.

According to the NCM, the sea will be light to moderate in the Sea of Oman and moderate, occasionally rough, in the Arabian Gulf. The winds will be northwesterly to southwesterly, light to moderate, sometimes active, stirring dust during the day, and have a speed range of 10 to 25 kilometers per hour, or 40 kilometers per hour.

The weather for Thursday is expected to be mostly clear with sporadic partial cloud cover and low clouds forming in the east. The temperature will gradually climb, and some coastal locations may experience humidity at night and early Friday morning.
