All taxable persons liable to corporate tax whose taxable period ended on December 31, 2025, must file their tax returns and pay the corporate tax by September 30, 2026, according to the Federal Tax Authority (FTA).

The EmaraTax digital tax services platform offers straightforward and easy methods for completing registration, filing tax returns, and paying corporate tax owed all around the clock. Taxable individuals who are liable to corporate tax can either use the platform to file their tax returns directly or consult the FTA website’s list of authorised tax agents for corporate tax purposes.

In order to ensure effective compliance with tax laws and prevent penalties for late submission and other instances of tax non-compliance, the Authority stated that Taxable Persons subject to Corporate Tax (including those eligible for Small Business Relief) must file their Tax Returns and pay the Corporate Tax due to the FTA within a period not exceeding nine months from the end of each Taxable Person’s Tax Period. Similarly, Exempt Persons who must register must submit their annual disclosures no later than nine months after the end of their fiscal year.
