The United Arab Emirates has issued a vehement condemnation of the most recent provocative strike carried out by Iran, which targeted Kuwait with missiles and drones. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) issued a statement in which it affirmed that this hostile attack is a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of Kuwait as well as a threat to the security and stability of the country.
It was said by the Ministry that the United Arab Emirates is fully in solidarity with the State of Kuwait and that it is in favour of any and all steps that are designed to protect the state’s security and stability.
As tensions between Iran and the United States have rekindled over the past few days, Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a harsh condemnation of Tehran on Thursday, following the most recent strike that targeted the Gulf state that occurred overnight. The ministry called the strikes “a significant threat to its (Kuwait’s) prosperity and the safety of its citizens and residents on its territory, and a serious breach of the rules of international law”.
