In an interview with Fox News on Monday, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio seemed to rule out the idea of delaying talks about the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program.Regarding the proposal that Pakistan sent to the US, he stated, “We have to make sure that any deal that is made, any agreement that is made is one that definitively prevents them from sprinting towards a nuclear weapon at any point.” According to the White House, US President Donald Trump will address the offer at a later time after discussing it with his national security staff.
