On Wednesday, Sharjah Media City (SHAMS) signed a number of strategic cooperation agreements with 14 Sharjah agencies and institutions, as witnessed by Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council.
The agreements seek to boost the emirate’s integrated media production ecosystem and grow the film and creative content industries. The signing event was held at Sharjah Media City’s headquarters. Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed praised the collaboration among the organizations involved, emphasizing its critical role in strengthening and expanding the emirate’s media industry.
In keeping with Sharjah’s all-encompassing media vision, he emphasized that this integration will favorably help to uniting the media message, improving professionalism, and keeping up with changing media requirements.
Sharjah Police, the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security, the Sharjah International Airport Authority, the Environment and Protected Areas Authority, the Sharjah Digital Department, the Sharjah Civil Defense Authority, BEEAH, the Sharjah Municipality, the Sharjah Archaeology Authority, the Sharjah Museums Authority, the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, Air Arabia Group, and Invest Bank have all signed strategic partnerships.
