Emirates has announced the suspension of its scheduled flights between Dubai and Damascus, with the final service on this route set for November 14, 2025. The move will bring an end to the airline’s direct operations between Dubai and the Syrian capital.

An Emirates spokesperson said, “Emirates will suspend its scheduled flights between Dubai and Damascus (EK913/EK914) from November 15, 2025, until further notice. The decision follows a routine operational review aimed at optimising fleet utilisation in line with the airline’s strategic business goals.

The carrier added that all passengers booked on flights after November 14 will be re-accommodated on flydubai services. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and look forward to resuming operations as soon as possible,” the statement added.

Although Emirates’ direct flights will cease, air connectivity between Dubai and Damascus will continue through flydubai, which will maintain regular services on the route. Passengers are advised to book early, as limited seat availability is expected following the rerouting.
