
A massive center dedicated to Indian products will open to the public by the end of 2026. Bharat Mart, located in the Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA), will cover approximately 2.7 million square feet of retail, showroom, and warehouse space, helping to “redefine” how Indian goods reach Africa, the Middle East, and Eurasia. The declaration came as Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum finished his first official tour to India, which aimed to enhance ties between the countries.
Bharat Mart, which is often compared to China’s Dragon Mart, will be a business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) marketplace in Dubai meant to facilitate commerce between Indian enterprises and global markets. Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Group Chairman and CEO of DP World, said that building on the facility has already commenced.
Bharat Mart is a showcase for Indian products to worldwide consumers, particularly purchasers from our region, the GCC, and Africa, to see, touch, and feel and fulfill their wants in their home nation,” he explained. “It’s an example of government collaboration action.
