At the Watch and Jewellery Middle East Show, Emirati designers took center stage, presenting their most recent cutting-edge gold and diamond collections as well as custom designs influenced by the rich history of the UAE. The show, which takes place from September 30 to October 4, 2026, is organised by Expo Center Sharjah with assistance from the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI).
The Emirati Goldsmiths platform, which SCCI dedicates to the exhibition as part of its ongoing efforts to promote national talent and support young entrepreneurs by strengthening their presence at jewellery and watchmaking events, features the designers’ creations.
Twenty Emirati women designers from all throughout the United Arab Emirates join the Emirati Goldsmiths platform for the first time. Their involvement is a significant step in the initiative’s efforts to broaden its talent pool, attract up-and-coming national designers, and increase market visibility for a new wave of innovative gold and jewellery industry entrepreneurs.
In addition to items inspired by Emirati tradition, their jewellery designs on show included gold, diamonds, pearls, and gemstones. The wide range of options showcases the adaptability and inventiveness of local talent and their ability to combine traditional craftsmanship with modern design, producing unique jewellery concepts tailored to modern consumers.
