Senator Joni Ernst of the Senate and Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz of the House of Representatives were among the members of the U.S. Congress that President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan hosted on Saturday.

The gathering, held at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, focused on the close friendship and strategic partnership between the United States and the United Arab Emirates, as well as the two nations’ shared resolve to deepen this relationship in order to further their shared interests and fulfill the aspirations of their respective populations.

Various topics about regional security and stability were also discussed, along with cooperative initiatives to advance peace in the Middle East and globally for the benefit of its peoples and the advancement of its countries.

Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, the adviser to the president of the United Arab Emirates; Dr. Sultan Bin Ahmed Al Jaber, the minister of industry and advanced technology; Yousef Al Otaiba, the ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the United States; Sheikh Theyab Bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the deputy chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; and several other officials attended the meeting.
