The Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) has expanded to become the world’s largest and is considered a major event for literary enthusiasts worldwide. From November 5 to 16, it will also offer attendees a unique chance to further their professional and creative development through an incredible series of workshops that have been pre-booked.
These space-constrained workshops, led by internationally recognized experts and esteemed educators, aim to empower, inspire, and educate attendees of all ages and interests. During the 12-day event, SIBF 2025 will provide attendees with a unique chance to learn from the world’s top experts, transforming a fair visit into an amazing educational experience.
The highly intimate creative writing workshop Unleash Your Creative Writing Powers & Reflect on Your Heritage,” will be led by award-winning novelist Dr. Nguyn Phan Qu Mai. This workshop, which is broken up into three sessions over three days (Friday, November 7 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM; Saturday, November 8 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM; and Sunday, November 9 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM), is intended to assist writers in drawing inspiration from their own stories and cultural heritage. They will receive constructive criticism and guided exercises to help them find and polish genuine narratives.
