
The Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has formally unveiled the Saudi Architecture Characters Map, which showcases 19 unique architectural designs that draw inspiration from the Kingdom’s varied geographical and cultural features. As part of Vision 2030, it emphasizes Saudi Arabia’s dedication to preserving the nation’s architectural legacy, improving living standards, and updating the urban environment in Saudi cities.
In his capacity as chairman of the Supreme Committee for Saudi Architectural Design Guidelines, the HRH Crown Prince emphasized that Saudi architecture reflects the Kingdom’s cultural and geographic variety.
He also emphasized the significance of environmentally conscious urban planning incorporating traditional architectural features into contemporary designs. Saudi architecture combines our rich heritage with modern design thinking,” the HRH Crown Prince said. In addition to creating an architectural foundation that balances the past and the present, we are improving urban landscapes and people’s quality of life. This model is going to be a global source of architectural design innovation inspiration.
Saudi architecture will indirectly boost economic growth by making our cities more appealing to tourists by boosting industries like construction, hospitality, and tourism. It also imagines a time when our towns and cities prosper.
