His Highness the President Today, President Vahagn Khachaturyan of the Republic of Armenia and Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed how to improve bilateral cooperation, particularly in the areas of investment and economics, to advance both nations’ development goals.
The Armenian president is on a working visit to the United Arab Emirates. Sheikh Mohamed welcomed him and wished Armenia and its people continued security and prosperity at the meeting, which was held at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi.
In light of this, Sheikh Mohamed said he hoped that the recent announcements by Azerbaijan and Armenia that peace talks had been successfully concluded would help promote stability and security as well as growth and prosperity for their respective populations and the larger Caucasus region. He restated the UAE’s historic pledge to back any initiative that uses diplomacy and communication to advance peace and security.
The President of Armenia, on his part, expressed gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed for his ongoing assistance in advancing their common interests and bolstering the positive partnership between the two nations. He reiterated a mutual dedication to strengthening this expanding partnership in all spheres of collaboration.
