The 6th edition of the National Service Career Fair (NSCF) was inaugurated by Major General Faisal Muhammad Al Shehhi, Joint Commander of Supplies at the Ministry of Defense. It will run until March 8 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC). By connecting UAE national service cadets with potential employers and higher education opportunities, the fair is intended to support their professional and educational futures.
Over 12,000 visitors and participants are expected to attend the three-day event, which features 24 workshops to develop cadets’ skills and knowledge. In the course of the fair, Al Shehhi was accompanied by Dr. Abdul Salam Al Madani, Roving Ambassador of the Mediterranean Parliamentary Assembly to the GCC and President of INDEX Holding, and other dignitaries, who toured the expo and reviewed the opportunities and facilities available to attendees. Organizing such events demonstrates the UAE’s support for cadets and national service graduates, by opening up channels of communication with qualified candidates.
Visitors to this year’s expo were the highest to date, indicating success in offering career opportunities to attendees. It is also open to graduates seeking employment and networking opportunities in a variety of fields, as well as exploring options for further education.
The fair is sponsored by the Ministry of Defence, organized by the INDEX Conferences & Exhibitions Organization, and represented by the National and Reserve Service Authority. The event attracts high-profile public and private officials who support the platform in its quest to empower Emirati talent and achieve Emiratiization goals.
