The 40th edition of the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC), which runs until 7 November, was opened Monday at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President; His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President; Deputy Prime Minister; and Chairman of the Presidential Court.
Sheikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the representative of His Majesty the King of Bahrain for Youth Affairs and Humanitarian Work, and His Highness Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, attended the event.
Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNOC, delivered the keynote address. Additionally, several energy ministers from around the globe participated in a discussion session.
The largest energy event in the world, ADIPEC is hosted by ADNOC Group and draws over 200,000 attendees, including top experts and innovators from across the globe. This year’s event has “Connecting Minds” as its theme. Transforming Energy.’ Sheikh Mansour underlined the UAE’s dedication to fostering technical innovation as a major force in several industries, most notably the energy sector. Incorporating artificial intelligence solutions into the energy sector and promoting the worldwide transition to clean energy entails forging strategic alliances and strengthening collaboration with preeminent international organizations.
