The Honourable The Supreme Council member and ruler of Sharjah, Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, has approved 3,578 scholarships for students to pursue undergraduate programs at Sharjah-based universities. The scholarships are intended for both female citizens of the emirate and their offspring.
Of these, the University of Sharjah received 1,818 scholarships. One hundred fifty-five scholarships were approved for the American University of Sharjah. In addition, 808 scholarships were given to the University of Al Dhaid and 335 scholarships were given to the University of Kalba.
Sheikh Sultan additionally authorised 392 scholarships for the Sharjah Maritime Academy in Khorfakkan, as well as 60 scholarships for the University of Khorfakkan.
1,818 scholarships were awarded to the University of Sharjah out of these. Approval of 165 scholarships for the American University of Sharjah. There were also 808 scholarships awarded to the University of Al Dhaid and 335 scholarships to the University of Kalba.
