His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, attended the fifth edition of Make it in the Emirates 2026, which was hosted at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). Sheikh Mohamed examined the most recent inventions, goods, and programs designed to improve the competitiveness and preparedness of domestic companies in a number of crucial areas, as well as the application of technology to boost domestic production, during the tour. Additionally, exhibitors briefed His Highness on important projects and activities that were unveiled during the event.
Sheikh Mohamed affirmed that bolstering the industrial sector’s role is a strategic priority for the UAE as part of its vision to empower national industries, foster an enabling environment for innovation and investment in future industries, and create opportunities for Emirati talent. He stated that the industrial sector continues to be a key pillar supporting and diversifying the national economy. The President also praised the event’s high turnout, which is indicative of the UAE’s industrial sector’s development and competitive advantages.
Sheikh Mohamed met His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, after the tour. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President; and a number of ministers and officials traveled with Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed.
