At age 63, seasoned Indian fashion designer Rohit Bal passed suddenly. According to NDTV, a friend of the designer claimed that a week before his final performance in October, Bal was in the intensive care unit.
After being released, he was brought to Delhi’s Aashlok Hospital on Wednesday, where he passed away on Friday due to a cardiac attack. The Fashion Design Council of India honoured the efforts of the fashion legend, better known as Gudda, in an Instagram post.
The loss of renowned designer Rohit Bal is deeply felt. He was one of the original members of the Indian Fashion Design Council (FDCI). Bal, who is renowned for his distinctive fusion of traditional designs with contemporary ideas, revolutionised Indian fashion and served as an inspiration to generations. In the fashion industry, his legacy of creativity, inventiveness, and forward-thinking will endure. “GUDDA, rest in peace,” the council stated.
