Due to the country’s weather, several regions of the country saw moderate to heavy rain on Thursday. It is anticipated that the moist air mass from the Arabian Sea will continue to move towards the country on Friday, when a weak upper-level low-pressure system along with a relatively cold air mass will extend.
According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), this will form some cumulus clouds in sporadic locations, particularly in the east and west, with a probability of rainfall.
Jabal Al-Mebraḥ and other isolated regions of the nation had moderate to heavy rainfall, according to the NMC. Yesterday at 02:15, the lowest temperature of 19.6 oC was recorded in Jebel Jais, Ras Al Khaimah.
In addition to rain and a drop in temperature, the NCM predicts that Friday’s weather will be partly cloudy overall and gloomy at times, with a probability of cumulus clouds emerging in some eastern and western regions. According to NCM, several coastal and inland regions may see high humidity levels both overnight and on Saturday morning.
According to NCM, the sea will be calm in the Sea of Oman and moderate to rough at times in the Arabian Gulf. The winds will be light to moderate, occasionally vigorous, and southeasterly before shifting to the northwest. They will reach speeds of 10 to 25 kilometres per hour, or 40 kilometres per hour.
