The president of the Syrian Arab Republic, Ahmad Al Sharaa, called the president of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on Sunday to wish him a happy Eid Al Adha. In addition to wishing everyone health and happiness, both presidents prayed that the event would bring blessings, peace, and prosperity to their respective peoples and both nations.
Additionally, they conveyed their aspirations for sustained progress and expansion, as well as for enduring safety, stability, and well-being across the Muslim world and the broader global community. The discussion also discussed the close ties between Syria and the United Arab Emirates and how to improve collaboration to benefit both countries’ goals and interests.
Ajman’s ruler and Supreme Council member, His Highness Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, has ordered the International Charity Organisation (ICO) to step up its humanitarian and relief work in Syria due to the grave circumstances that many parts of the country are facing.
At an event held at the Royal Court, he was given an update on the organization’s work in a number of humanitarian domains, including its initiatives to aid the poor in some areas of Syria and the refugees and displaced in a number of other nations.
This occurred at a meeting between the Ruler of Ajman and the ICO’s Secretary-General, Dr. Khalid Abdulwahab Al Khaja, and the group that accompanied him.
