DUBAI: Andrzej Duda, the president of Poland, emphasised the parallels between the UAE and Poland’s modern histories and values in a keynote speech on the opening day of the World Governments Summit (WGS) 2025. He also emphasised the significance of collaboration in ensuring interconnected and shared prosperity.

Duda thought on the creative ways Poland has expanded its economy since 1989. “Our GDP has grown at an unprecedented rate over the past three decades, and we are still fortifying the political and economic underpinnings of our progress. He pointed out that Poland has achieved energy security by investing in its own nuclear power facilities and diversifying its sources of imported energy carriers.
