On December 12th, LIWA Village celebrated its return to the heart of the Al Dhafra desert with a stunning spectacle.
Against the stunning backdrop of the Liwa dunes, two courageous professionals holding a banner skydived from an aircraft to officially announce Liwa Village’s comeback, drawing all eyes to the sky. The aircraft took off from its base, Abu Dhabi Sports Aviation Club, and flew to LIWA Festival. The skydivers leaped out of the plane when it reached 13,000 feet, launching themselves into a heart-stopping freefall across the blue skies.
As the massive banner billowed in the wind, the words “LIWA VILLAGE IS BACK” rose above the horizon, enthralling the onlookers below and setting the stage for yet another amazing adventure, entertainment, and cultural festival that would go until January 4.
Abu Dhabi Sports Aviation Club is a community that brings together thrill-seekers to safely enjoy once-in-a-lifetime experiences, helping to realize the vision of LIWA Village. The club was formed with the approval and patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the ruler of Abu Dhabi.
