The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi of the Republic of India to discuss ways to deepen bilateral ties, promote greater economic integration, and create new opportunities for collaboration in key areas. On the fringes of the 18th BRICS Summit, the Indian Prime Minister hosted a reception for Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan at Hyderabad House in New Delhi.

Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the accompanying group were greeted by the Indian Prime Minister, highlighting the breadth and depth of the long-standing UAE-India partnership across a variety of areas of shared interest. Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan greeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the beginning of the meeting and wished him continued health and well-being as well as long-term growth and prosperity for the Republic of India and its citizens. Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan also conveyed gratitude for the UAE delegation’s kind hospitality.

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan received greetings from Narendra Modi, who also wished the UAE and its citizens great success, advancement, and well-being. The discussion examined opportunities for collaboration and coordination within the context of the two nations’ historic friendship and Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), as well as the ongoing development of bilateral ties in a number of areas.

Additionally, the two sides discussed a number of issues that they both found interesting. Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Narendra Modi reaffirmed their shared commitment to strengthening cooperation, supporting the development partnership, and expanding its horizons in ways that fulfilll the goals and aspirations of both nations’ leaderships and increase the prosperity and well-being of their respective populations.
